How METAPAD works
1. Create your account
Sign up with your email, verify it, and complete your profile. Add your PayPal email — that is how you get paid. Take a few minutes to write an accurate bio and list your availability so we can match you to the right shops.
2. Confirm your email
We send a confirmation link to the email you signed up with. You need to click it before you can log in, so please check your spam folder if it does not arrive. You can request a new link from the login page at any time.
3. Find and apply for shops
Browse open shops, filter by city or category, and apply. When you apply, we compare your profile to the requirements and pick the best fit.
4. Do the shop
Once you are approved, the shop appears in your dashboard with full instructions. Visit the location, interact as a regular customer, then fill in the report from your phone.
5. Submit your report
Answer the questions, upload photos, and attach a photo of your receipt. Submit it. You can save a draft and finish later if you need to.
6. Get paid
We review your report. Once approved, payment is sent to your PayPal email — usually within 1–3 business days. Your payment covers your fee plus any reimbursement for purchases, as listed on the shop.
Common questions
How much do I get paid?
Each shop shows the fee and reimbursement cap before you apply. Nothing is hidden.
When do I get paid?
After your report is approved. Typically 1–3 business days.
How do purchase funds work?
Some shops need you to buy something in the store. If you are approved for one of them, we email you a link to view your check in your account. The check amount is separate from your payment for completing the job. Keep your receipt and upload it with your report. We will never ask you to send money back.
What if I need to spend money at the store?
Some shops include a reimbursement. Keep your receipt and upload a clear photo with your report. You are reimbursed up to the amount shown on the shop.
Do I need a PayPal account?
Yes. Payments are sent via PayPal. A free personal account works. Make sure the email in your profile matches the one on your PayPal account.
What if my report is rejected?
We will explain why and let you revise it in most cases. Low-effort or fabricated reports are rejected outright.
Can I work in more than one city?
You can apply for any shop you can realistically attend. Accuracy matters more than volume.
