Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our servers record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages requested and the date and time of each request. We use it to keep the service running, to prevent abuse and to investigate problems. We also use a small number of essential cookies, described in our Cookie Policy.
Identity verification
We may ask shoppers to verify their identity, for example by uploading a government-issued identity document, before certain shops or payments. If we do, we will tell you what we need and why at that moment. We only use identity documents to confirm who you are and to prevent fraud, and we handle them with extra care and restrict access to the people who need it.
3. How we use your information and why
We use personal information only for the purposes below. Where the law of your country requires a legal basis (for example in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom), the basis is shown in brackets.
- To create and manage your account, confirm your email and let you log in (performance of our contract with you).
- To match you with shops, including showing you opportunities in your country and city (performance of our contract; our legitimate interest in running the service well).

- To meet legal obligations, such as keeping financial and tax records, and responding to lawful requests from authorities (legal obligation).
- To improve the service by understanding what works and what does not, using aggregated or limited information where possible (our legitimate interest).
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Who we share information with

If you contact us on WhatsApp, your messages are also handled by WhatsApp under its own terms and privacy policy.
5. International transfers
Our shoppers, our team and our service providers may be located in different countries, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live. When we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps to make sure it stays protected, for example by using service providers that commit to appropriate safeguards, and by relying on approved transfer mechanisms where the law requires them.
